Manchester United have announced their full squad for the 2012 Tour. A mix of youth and experience, it will be an opportunity to see some real exciting players to get some game time.
The only first team players to travel are Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Berbatov, Chicharito, Anderson and Macheda due to Euro 2012 and Olympic commitments. It has been confirmed that Rio Ferdinand will captain the squad.
For me, Davide Petrucci and Ryan Tunnicliffe are two to watch. The midfield duo, both extremely different in their style of play, offer United some central midfield options from within.
New signings Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell will also be on show for the first time as well as the returning Bebe after his eventual season on loan in Turkey.
Travelling squad: Lindegaard, Amos, Johnstone, Ferdinand, Veseli, Vermijl, Wootton, Blackett; Valencia, Anderson, Carrick, Scholes, Powell, Kagawa, Bebe, Tunnicliffe, Lingard, Brady, Petrucci; Berbatov, Chicharito, Macheda.

So you don’t rate Anderson as a first team player then?
We need lucas moura because his talented wag. SAF pay the amount required from the sao paulo £30m. Pay to their demand
Its not that simple buddy; united don’t have the money
When we have enough talented youthful players, why do we want to waste money on Moura. Instead buy Motinho or Sneidjer.
Why would we buy Sneijder? He is too old for the money required to sign him and pay him a wage. Moutinho will end up at Spurs if Modric leaves. Only rumour says we will try and sign Lucas Moura!
