Angelo Henriquez has earned himself a call up to the Chilean senior squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
He will be part of the squad to play Antonio Valencia‘s Ecuador on October 12 and South American superstars Argentina on October 16.
The Chilean squad boasts such talents as Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Junior Fernandes and Eduardo Vargas, so Henriquez will certainly be in good company.
The youngster has been extremely impressive since making his move from Universidad de Chile this summer. He scored within ten minutes of his U21s debut and his natural attacking talent looks extremely exciting.
His goal poaching threat, combined with electric pace, makes him a danger to any opposition defence but at the tender age of 18, this will be a massive step for him.
It seems Sir Alex came in and took him to Old Trafford at the right time. If the early signs are anything to go by, we could be watching the rise of a real star.
