Ashley Cole’s mum says City fan who hit Ferdinand should get a medal

by Sam Peoples

According to tomorrow mornings Daily Mirror, Ashley Cole’s mum Sue has said that whoever threw the coin at Rio Ferdinand on Sunday should get a medal.

The article suggests that a message appeared on her son Matty’s Facebook page under her name saying “Give the fan who threw it a medal.”

The message would have been swiftly deleted, much like Ashley Cole’s recent jibe at the FA, but that isn’t to say it didn’t happen.

She’s definitely right – ignore the fact that a man was almost blinded for celebrating a winning goal in a football match in front of his own fans, the scum bag who threw it should be rewarded.

Why can’t Chelsea just stay out of the headlines for the wrong reasons? Must be a great dinner party when the Terry’s and Cole’s get together.

So it was a tweet in someones brothers account and yet according to the idiot who wrote this it is Chelsea FC who are responsible! I guess he is no more a representative of Chelsea than you are of United?
