Wilfried Zaha put in a man-of-the-match performance against Hull City as Crystal Palace romped to a 4-2 victory at Selhurst Park.
The 2o-year-old striker was in unstoppable form. He laid on the passes for two of Kevin Philips’ goals and bagged himself an individual goal late on in the game, following it up with a rather unorthadox celebration.
When Zaha plays like he did against Hull City, he is simply unplayable. It is clear he is a cut above the Championship when it comes to footballing ability.
His strength on both feet, pace and versatility across the front three make him such a dangerous winger and Hull City simply had no answer for him.
Given how weak Manchester United’s wingers have been this season, having a youthful and exuberant Zaha biting at their heels is the perfect addition to the squad. Not only will he challenge for places but he will hopefully give them all a kick into gear too. You only have to look at the impact of the Buttner signing on Evra to see the positive impact of signing a player to improve competition for places within the squad.
All he needs to work on now is his goal celebrations…
