Adnan Januzaj joins Manchester United’s senior squad

by Sam Peoples

Adnan Januzaj has had his progress rewarded after being given the #44 shirt in Manchester United’s senior squad for the rest of the season.

The 18-year-old has been a real driving force with United’s U21s this year, especially after the departure of so many attackers in January.

“Yes. I always try to do my best in every game and try to get in the team. Hopefully, I can try to get in the first team in the future as well.” Adnan Januzaj

He has been singled out by Ferguson as one of the clubs most promising youngsters and with the title already wrapped up with four games to go, he is in line to make his full senior debut this season.

Januzaj has spoken candidly about his future already this season and he has high hopes of becoming a regular member of the first team.

Given his fast track progress at the club so far, it could be sooner rather than later before we see Januzaj regularly in the senior side.

Such is his ability, he has already been promoted to the U21s squad ahead of schedule and now that he has been given a shirt number, a potential debut against Swansea is on the cards.

There is a real buzz about Januzaj from those that watch him play. A naturally gifted player, he has all the hallmarks of someone who can make it to the top.
