PICTURE: Pogba’s disgusting red card for spitting against Palermo

by Sam Peoples

Paul Pogba has had a pretty good season since leaving Manchester United in acrimonious circumstances this summer and he picked up a Serie A medal today.

But he did it from the sidelines after being sent off after sinking to the lowest of the lows – spitting on an opponent after clashing in a challenge.

There aren’t many more despicable acts a footballer can do on the pitch and he should get a longer than three match ban for the act.

He may be one hell of a talented youngster but you simply can’t condone any act like this.

He left United because he was chasing more money and he got that at Juventus but already this season he has been disciplined for turning up late to training and this spitting incident is downright filthy.

If he keeps that sort of act up, it won’t be long before Juventus have their very own Suarez for all the wrong reasons.

Bias on his transfer history aside. It’s a disgusting act that shows a complete lack of class.
