Today, Manchester United will parade through the streets of Manchester to celebrate the 2013 Premier League title and give Sir Alex Ferguson a final goodbye.
The bus looks fantastic and is a fitting tribute to Ferguson who put the man in Manchester. I expect today will be just as emotional as yesterday as tens of thousands of fans are going to line the streets to pay homage to Ferguson and the squad. There are only 76,000 seats at Old Trafford but there will be plenty more than that celebrating with the team today on the parade.
The club announced the official route as the following:
18:00: Send-off event, Old Trafford
18:30: Bus leaves OT
19:15: Bus travels up Deansgate and turns into Lloyd Street
19:40: Finish at Albert Square for parade event (approx 20 mins)
20:00: Parade ends
Last year, Manchester City paraded the streets but this year, we won our trophy back for Ferguson and it is only right that he walks away from the club as a winner.
Coverage begins at 16:00 on Sky Sports and there will no doubt be a real carnival atmosphere.
