VIDEO: David Beckham’s finest Manchester United moments

by Sam Peoples

If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realised those dreams.”¬†David Beckham

David Beckham has announced that he will retire from professional football at the end of the season with PSG.

The 38-year-old has spent 20 years playing professionally and will always be fondly remembered by any Manchester United fan.

Beckham may have spent years across the pond at Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy and PSG but his best years were spent at United.

He netted 85 times in 394 appearances for the club on the way to winning six Premier Leagues, two FA Cups and one Champions League.

Renowned for his trademark free-kicks, Beckham will always be the textbook dead-ball specialist and he scored some crackers in his time. From¬†that goal against Wimbledon in 1996 to a beautiful curler into the top corner against Tottenham in 1999 that helped seal the title, Beckham didn’t really score knock-ins.

And you can relive all 85 of his United goals in just 14 minutes thanks to a brilliant video from @AntonAlfy. Enjoy.
