Wilfried Zaha’s Manchester United career is about to get started with our new signing currently making his way up to Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old joined the club back in January in a £15 million deal from Crystal Palace but was immediately loaned back out to the Championship side.
And it was a move that proved the right decision as the winger played a vital role in their promotion to the Premier League.
His brace against bitter rivals Brighton and tricky feet to win the penalty in the play-off final that won Palace promotion were integral to the Eagles success.
Everybody should be excited about what Zaha could do at the club this year. Last season, our flat wingers added nothing to the attacking impetus of the side and we struggled with our naturally strong game based on width and pace.
But Zaha can change all that. He is already a full England international and in the Championship, defences simply couldn’t stop him even if they placed two defenders on the job.

At United, he will be around a better quality of players and it means that he will be afforded more space that should play to his strengths. He has got great ability when running straight at a defender and there is no reason why that can’t translate to the Premier League.
It won’t be long before we get to see Zaha in action for the first time with pre-season only a week away and it will certainly be exciting to see if he can quickly become an integral part of Moyes Boyes.
