Wilfried Zaha joined up with his Manchester United teammates for the first time yesterday since completing his £15 million move from Crystal Palace back in January.
The 20-year-old enjoyed some training with the squad ahead of the start of this years tour of Asia, with the team expected to fly out to Bangkok this Wednesday.
And Zaha got a real taste of what it is like to be a United player straight away as he took part in the unveiling of United’s new sponsor Aeroflot.
In the playoff semi-final against Brighton, his emphatic brace was the difference and it was his tricky feet in the final that won the penalty to send Palace back up to the Premier League.
Although not too much can be expected of him in his first season at the club, it is exciting that we have got some fresh legs to inject into our tired wings.
With our pre-season starting on Saturday, it won’t be long before we get to see Zaha in action and if he can replicate the sparkling form that spearheaded Palace to promotion, then he might quickly become an integral part to this United side.
