Manchester United’s squad have had a couple of days off in Australia ahead of Saturday’s second tour fixture against an A-League All-Stars team.
Players bonding is a really important part of building any healthy squad with the likes of Januzaj and Zaha joining up with the team for the first time. It allows the players to socialise informally away from prying eyes.
Robin van Persie joined up with the squad in Sydney after having an extended break this summer which was well timed give that United were left with only one named striker in Welbeck following Rooney’s departure.
And in his time off, Van Persie has been squaring off with Ferdinand on the ping pong table, showcasing his Ronaldinho-no-look skills.

And it isn’t the first time that the pair have faced off on the table. They took part in a game as part of BT Sport’s advertising campaign ahead of the Premier League season.
