Manchester United have been handed a home tie against Liverpool to open up their 2013/2014 Capital One Cup campaign.
There is always a little bit of added spice to any United fixture against Liverpool and this time it is because the game could mark the playing return of Luis Suarez after his ten game ban for trying to eat Branislav Ivanovic.
Last year, United went out of the Capital One Cup in the Fourth Round after a thrilling 5-4 defeat to Chelsea and our tradition of tough cup fixtures has continued with a game against Liverpool.
The draw means that Moyes will face Manchester City and Liverpool within the space of four days which will really test the depth of the squad.
Hopefully, United will continue their tradition of promoting the youngsters in the cup games with the likes of Zaha, Januzaj, Lingard and Powell all hungry for game time.
