Shinji Kagawa has been spotted flying out of Manchester Airport tonight but don’t worry, he isn’t leaving Manchester United.

The 24-year-old is flying to Paris to catch a connecting flight to Osaka as Japan have an international fixture against Guatemala on 6 September.

There are no direct flights to Osaka from Manchester but there is from Charles De Gaulle in Paris which is why Kagawa is flying to France in order to make his way to Japan as soon as possible.

The location of the tweet is Dublin as Brian Dunne did not send the picture until after he had landed.

Naturally, plenty jumped to the conclusion that Kagawa flying to Paris meant he would be joining Paris St Germain but that is not the case.

David Moyes has reiterated that Kagawa will get his opportunity and his agent has confirmed that he has no desire to leave Manchester this year, so he will not be leaving United in the foreseeable future.

Kagawa was left out of the squad to face Liverpool by Moyes despite being fit despite being fit and there is a real worry that the Japanese playmaker may be getting disgruntled with his circumstances at Old Trafford.

United’s next game is against Crystal Palace on 13 September and in recent fixtures, Kagawa has performed very well while on international duty with Japan so fans are hoping that he can have a similarly fruitful international break over the next ten days and return to Manchester ready to be given his first team opportunities by Moyes.
