Wilfried Zaha is currently in action with England’s U21s as they take on Moldova in Gareth Southgate’s first game in charge.
The 20-year-old hasn’t featured in the Premier League for David Moyes so far despite a brilliant pre-season where his silky skills got United fans excited about what he could do in the league and he showcased his fine footwork once again tonight against Moldova.
In just a couple of seconds, he swerved his way through three Moldova and galloped down the wing before sending a measured pass back across the box for a team-mate.
His direct style of play is so refreshing to see even in an England shirt and with United’s next game being against his old club Crystal Palace on 14 September, he may be given his Premier League debut by Moyes. If he can replicate this sort of form, United will reap the rewards.
