Manchester United confirm fixtures for U19s Champions League

Manchester United have announced their fixtures for the U19s UEFA Champions League competition that begins this year.

The first match will kick off at 4pm against Bayer Leverkusen on 17 September in Salford City Stadium just a few hours before the senior side takes on the German team in the corresponding fixture at Old Trafford later that evening.

Nicky Butt will take charge of this U19s competition that will see United pitted against the best that Europe has to offer. It is going to be an extremely exciting opportunity for our youngsters to play European football at an early age and will be a great experience for them.

Unlike the senior competition, knockout rounds will be decided over one leg and there will be no extra time with games going straight to penalties if level after 90 minutes.

The final on Monday 14 April will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.
