Manchester United have named a 20 man squad for the inaugural U19s UEFA Champions League competition.

The 18-year-old was left out of the senior Champions League squad but has now been named with the U19s alongside the likes of Academy Player of the Year Ben Pearson, James Wilson and Andreas Pereira.

His inclusion in the squad indicates that the Belgian may remain at Old Trafford this season despite being heavily linked with a loan move away.

Here is the whole U19s squad in full:

1. Pierluigi Gollini (GK), 2. James Weir, 3. Louis Rowley, 4. Paddy McNair, 5. Liam Grimshaw, 6. Ben Pearson, 7. Sam Byrne, 8. Joe Rothwell, 9. James Wilson, 10.Adnan Januzaj, 11.Andreas Pereira, 12.Sean Goss, 13.Joel Castro Pereira (GK), 14.Ashley Fletcher, 15.Josh Harrop, 16.Callum Evans, 17.Matthew Willock, 18.Nicholas Ioannou, 19.Ben Barber, 20.Kieran O’Hara.

As with the B list players in the senior competition, anyone can be added or removed from the squad up to 48 hours before kick off of any match.

Nicky Butt’s U19s will begin their tournament against Bayer Leverkusen at 4pm next Tuesday at the Salford City Stadium.
