PICTURE: David Moyes offered solution to winger problems with dynamic duo

David Moyes has tried all sorts of wingers so far this season but none have played well enough to convince him that they deserve a regular starting spot.

However, there is a duo who could be fantastic if given the chance to prove themselves – Adnan Januzaj and Shinji Kagawa.

Kagawa has waited patiently for his opportunity while Januzaj took his with aplomb on his full Premier League debut against Sunderland.

Both players are technically gifted with the ball at their feet and have a natural tendency to cut inside instead of running on the outside. With Evra and Rafael providing the width from their full-back spots, it is the perfect tactic to have.

Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie would also thrive on having two ball playing creative play makers feeding them through the middle. It would play to their strengths of having balls passed into their feet and would makes chances aplenty for United.

Against Sunderland, we relied too much on crosses and didn’t offer enough of a threat through the middle. It took two excellent finishes from Januzaj to break their stubborn defence down but if we employed Januzaj and Kagawa on the wings, our attack would be so dynamic.

Januzaj and Kagawa could switch wings in an instant while Rooney and van Persie would be able to drop deeper whenever they needed to. Instead of our wingers feeling very separate from the attack, Januzaj and Kagawa would be fully involved in more of the game.

Moyes showed by playing Januzaj against Sunderland from the start that he is willing to take risks and his next one could be to see what Januzaj and Kagawa do together given their weak defensive games.
