Manchester United hands some money back to the fans

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United have knocked £4 off the price of every away ticket in order to encourage more fans to travel to away games.

Each Premier League club has been told to set aside £200,000 to help improve away support.

The decision has come after long consultation with the Fans’ Forum and will be put in place in time for the Fulham game.

Given how many sponsorship deals United signed this season, it is good to see United giving something back to the fans.

However, our away fans don’t need price reductions to encourage them to travel as we are already one of the most well represented clubs away from home and our fans are famous for their loud support, something that will only get louder now that they all have enough for an extra pint before kick-off.
