David Moyes has piled praise on Adnan Januzaj after his performance in Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over West Ham yesterday.
The 18-year-old was one of United’s most dangerous players going forward and he was rewarded for his endeavour with his first goal for United at Old Trafford which was a brilliant finish after some neat work.
For someone so young to take to first team football so naturally is rare and Moyes is keen to bring that sort of creativity out in as many as possible at Old Trafford.
“Everyone can see the talent the boy has got,” he said.
“He scored a really good goal, he’s got composure and he’s got really good feet and once again he did really well today.
“He’s making big steps because he is only 18 and he’s had a lot of games but I think he’s warranted a place.
“He’s creative and can beat people and we want as many of those players at Manchester United as we can.”
United have an array of talent in the academy that would have all taken heart from the fact that Januzaj has enjoyed such a rise to the first team.
The likes of Larnell Cole, Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell and James Wilson are all potential first team players of the future and although there is a necessity to bring experienced players into the side, the future looks like bright for our attacking youngsters too.
Over the years, United have built their successes on an ethos of ‘Attack, attack, attack’ and by the looks of it, Moyes is going to embrace that philosophy in the make up of his team in the future.
