Transfer round-up: United bid for Gundogan, Hamsik wanted by Moyes and Anderson leaving

by Sam Peoples

Cardiff City chairman believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to ‘tap in’ to his past ties with Manchester United and look to bring in some more new faces to the Welsh club. He has already brought in Mats Moller Daehli and Magnus Wolff Eikrem, both of whom played for United’s reserves, and is in line to sign Mame Biram Diouf from Hannover as well. It is a mini-United revolution.

Napoli’s Marek Hamsik has been lined up by the Daily Star as a potential signing for David Moyes, a rumour strengthened by the fact that Moyes was in attendance as Napoli played yesterday. Despite Edison Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi leaving, Hamsik has remained loyal to Napoli but Moyes may well test their reserve.

Manchester United and Real Madrid have both submitted an offer for Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan, according to BildHe is seen by most United fans as the perfect midfielder for our needs but with his future undecided, it remains to be seen whether United could tempt him away from Dortmund.

Anderson is close to finalising a deal to join Fiorentina says SambafootThe Brazilian midfielder has spent six years at the club but looks to be on the verge of moving to Serie A.

And finally, Manchester United are willing to pay €50 million to re-sign Juventus’ Paul Pogba according to the Daily Mail. However, if there is one transfer that isn’t going to happen this year or any time soon, it is Pogba coming back to Old Trafford.
