Transfer round-up: United in for Moura, Shaw’s £30m pricetag and Gundogan undecided

by Sam Peoples

Luke Shaw has had a £30 million price tag slapped on him according to the Daily StarWhilst that does sound like a lot of money, the 18-year-old could potentially become United’s left back for a decade which would spread that cost over a long time. In that scenario, £30 million would be a bargain.

Both the Daily Star and The Independent believe Manchester United are back in or Lucas Moura. We tried to sign him two years ago but were pipped to the post by Paris St Germain. David Moyes will want to increase United’s soccer odds in the Premier League next year with a marquee signing in the summer to signal his intent and Moura would certainly be that.

Ilkay Gundogan has been speaking about his future and according to Sky Sports, Borussia Dortmund are not rushing him into any decision he is going to make and will give him as much time as he needs.

Another midfielder who The Independent has linked United with a move for is Napoli’s Marek HamsikHe is under contract with the Italian side until 2018 and hasn’t indicated he would want to leave the club, so if Moyes was interested in him it would take a big money bid to lure him away.

Inside Futbol claims that the agent of Lazio’s Brazilian central midfielder Hernanes has flown into London to discuss a potential move to England, with Atletico Madrid ruled out of the race to secure his signature.
