Desportivo Brasil youngster Douglas Garcia completed an extended trial with Manchester United this month at Carrington and it looks like he is pushing his own charm offensive to help with a potential move to United in the future.

This was the second trial that the 16-year-old has had with Manchester United this year and due to our relationship with Desportivo, he has the opportunity to come back for another trial later in the year.

When asked by Sport Witness if he saw himself playing for Manchester United in the future, he admitted it was a dream but remained calm about the prospect.

“My goal is the same dream as from everyone else, but I’m very calm about that, just like my agents,” he said.

“If it works out it would be great, but I may end up in other clubs as well. My agents will take care of it.”

Douglas has already uploaded plenty of United photos to his Instagram and his latest casually has a Manchester United crest facing the camera on a glass, like a well placed advert.

Bruno Gomes was another Desportivo Brasil youngster who tried his utmost to help push a United transfer through by heavily engaging with fans on Twitter but in the end, United decided not to bring him to Old Trafford.

Will Douglas suffer the same fate? There is every possibility that might happen. However, he has another trial in the future and will no doubt do his utmost to make sure United have no choice but sign him.
