Manchester United winger earns deal extension after impressive performances

Jack Barmby has extended his current loan deal with Hartlepool United for another month after they reached an agreement with Manchester United.

The winger joined Hartlepool on loan at the end of the January transfer window and scored on his debut for them, a goal which was his first in senior football.

The 19-year-old has made five appearances since arriving at Victoria Park with three coming from the bench as a substitute.

Barmby’s loan will now expire after Hartlepool’s match against Mansfield Town on Tuesday 25 March and he must have had an impact at the League Two club to earn an extension to the deal.
