Just like Manchester United’s second goal was a picture of simple football executed perfectly, Danny Welbeck’s followed suit.
After some really neat build-up play, Wayne Rooney‘s pass gave Welbeck the chance to stick one in the far corner and Ben Foster had no chance. It was some more fantastic build-up play and a smart finish.
That third goal summed up Manchester United’s performance on the day. It was clinical and comfortable. An away day at West Brom is never an easy fixture, especially in United’s current circumstances, but after we soaked up the pressure at the start, there was only ever going to be one winner.
