Manchester United scouts are going to Portugal this weekend to watch William Carvalho in action once again, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, as our continued interest in the Sporting Lisbon midfielder continues.
The 21-year-old has been watched by Manchester United scouts over a dozen times this year in the first example of David Moyes’ overhauled scouting system and it puts United another step closer towards signing Carvalho in the summer.
Previous reports from The Mirror suggest that a deal for Carvalho is already done but even if that was the case, Moyes would more than likely want to continue watching Carvalho in action to get as in-depth a report as possible on him.
As well as watching Carvalho, it will also be a chance for United to watch two other players in action – Sporting’s Carlos Mane and none other than Bebe who is on loan at Pacos de Ferreira.
Man United has booked places at do Móvel on Sunday, as Pacos hosts Sporting. Will be watching William Carvalho, Mané and Bebé. [O Jogo]

The 20-year-old winger from Sporting has, much like Carvalho, broken into their first team this season and has made a real impact while Bebe is currently in fantastic form with eight goals in his last 11 appearances on loan, so it will be a chance for him to show how much he has improved.
