Louis van Gaal was joined by Robin van Persie and Kevin Strootman this afternoon in the stands to watch PSV take on Feyenoord.
As far as man management goes, it’s a testament to Van Gaal’s thought process that he’s happy to spend plenty of time with his captain ahead of the World Cup.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Van Persie and Van Gaal have met up recently as the pair of them also watched Vitesse in action.
Strootman and Van Persie would have had split loyalties about the result given that the former played for PSV and the latter spent his youth with Feyenoord.
It’s a nice touch from Van Gaal to invite Strootman to watch the game. Even though he has been ruled out of the World Cup through injury, he’s still open to his input.
Do you think Van Gaal would be a good manage for Manchester United? We’ll be releasing an article soon taking a look into why Van Gaal could be a great replacement for David Moyes.
