Toni Kroos drops major hint about his future with Bayern and United

Toni Kroos has insisted the advice given to him by ex-Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes is something that he really values ahead of his potential exit this summer.

Heynckes told Kroos that he should not consider leaving Bayern and should remain at the club but with contract negotiations delayed, Kroos is yet to commit his future to Bayern.

The 24-year-old has put off talks until after the summer but if he does take Heynckes’ advice on board, he won’t be going anywhere this summer.

“Very important,” Kroos said when asked how important Heynckes’ advice was.

“He was one of the most important coach I had. We have had and will always have a good relationship. So a piece of advice is important.

“In the end, it’s about me and my future. There are a few people whose advice you value, and that includes Jupp Heynckes. It was exciting to hear what he thinks.”

Going after Kroos was always going to be a long shot, much like Cesc Fabregas, but there is reason to believe that this situation could be different, especially if Louis van Gaal came on board given his history with Kroos.

This summer was always going to be complicated for Manchester United in the transfer market but the sacking of Moyes now means that we have to get a new manager too, which makes it an even more tricky situation.
