Giggs: We will go back to playing like Manchester United

Ryan Giggs’ appointment as Manchester United’s interim manager was the right thing to do following David Moyes’ dismissal.

Having someone in charge who knows the club inside out, understands the ethos and appreciates the necessity to stick to it are things that we have desperately missed this season and according to The Telegraph, Giggs declared ‘we will go back to playing like Manchester United’ in his first team talk at Old Trafford.

That’s what United fans have been wanting to hear season but under Moyes, United’s approach was pragmatic to say the least. Giggs won’t be having any of that.

Personally, I can’t see anything past a barnstorming win against Norwich on Saturday. Old Trafford will be shaking with excitement to see Giggs walking out and taking his seat in the dugout as manager after the season we’ve had . He won’t settle for United sitting back and resting on their laurels, it’s not how he has played for over 20 years.

Even if Giggs, Scholes, Butt and Neville are only in charge for the remaining four games this season, you can bet your house on United playing exciting, entertaining football.
