Barcelona fans want Fabregas to be sold – step forward Manchester United

This month, Cesc Fabregas to Manchester United rumours have been resurrected before the transfer window has even opened.

Reports from Spain suggested that Barcelona would be willing to listen to a big offer from United this summer for Fabregas to get the wheels turning once again and now, thanks to the Barcelona fans themselves, there is justification behind the claims.

In a poll on Mundo Deportivo, 80% of fans from a pool of 6,812 voted that Fabregas should be sold in the summer and he was booed by fans in the crowd last weekend, so all is not well for Fabregas at Barcelona.

We were left with our tail between our legs for Fabregas last summer but under new management and after the season we’ve had, we’re more likely to be aggressive in this market. If there is the slightest hint Fabregas was available, United would surely jump on it.

But how likely is that? Here’s the opinion of Spanish journalist and Barcelona fan Rafael Hernandez on the Fabregas situation, who believes there is plenty of ground to criticise Fabregas.

Fabregas was and is a pipe dream midfielder but it didn’t stop us from making a move for him last year.

Now that Barcelona have endured a torrid season in all competitions and signs suggest that all is not well in the Nou Camp, are United going to rekindle this saga in the summer?
