Ryan Giggs has had his first interview as Manchester United’s interim manager with MUTV and in just ten minutes, Giggs did more with his words than David Moyes did in ten months.
Giggs admitted this was the proudest moment of his life but he didn’t look like a kid at Disneyland. He looked determined, he was ready for the job.
“We’re Man United, we’re at home, I expect to win,” he told MUTV without so much of a blink. That’s it. That’s United. Not arrogant, just better.
Giggs laughed and admitted he had to take a bit of stick this week from the other players but ultimately, Giggs has got the trust of the players and has promised the return of attacking, exciting, entertaining football.
Bring on Saturday.
