Louis van Gaal has called Manchester United the biggest club in the world and admitted he wants to become our new manager, according to the BBC.
News of his announcement was expected today but the decision has been pushed back until the end of the season. Fear not, there aren’t expected to be any issues because of the extra delay.
“I would love the job. I hope that I shall be the one,” he said at the start of his Dutch training camp.
In every way, shape or form, Van Gaal looks signed and sealed behind closed doors. There is yet to be an official announcement but Van Gaal’s comments today to the press all but confirm it.
Robin van Persie was like an exciteable puppy in his interview with MUTV after the full time whistle last night and it’s obvious as to why – Van Gaal is going to be Manchester United’s new manager.
