Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic has completed his medical with Manchester United ahead of a €1.75m move, according to reports.

Last week, we brought you the news that Milinkovic was waiting on the final details of his transfer to be confirmed before any official announcement could be made.

Milinkovic could well have completed his medical before he was interviewed by Novosti.rs but he did insist that the reason it wasn’t announced had nothing to do with financial details.

When the deal does finally go through, United fans needn’t get excited about seeing what he can do with our academy as he’ll go straight back out on loan in order to gain valuable match experience.

At €1.75m, Milinkovic would be a relatively expensive teenager so United obviously see some strong potential in him and you can never have too many talented youngsters in the lower ranks at United.

Louis van Gaal‘s proven track record in bringing through youngsters is one of the most exciting aspects of his managerial style and with the likes of Tom Lawrence, James Wilson, Jesse Lingard et al in the ranks, it is a great time to be a youngster at United.
