Barcelona confirm offers for Manchester United target Alexis Sanchez

Barcelona have confirmed they have received offers for Alexis Sanchez with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all reportedly interested in securing his services.

Sanchez signed for Barcelona from Udinese in 2011 for £34m, but his future at Camp Nou appears to be in doubt with the club preferring to hold on to La Masia graduate Pedro ahead of Sanchez if one were to leave.

“Regarding the future of Alexis Sanchez, there have been offers for the player,” said Barcelona’s sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.

“But I do not know how it will all end – we are looking for a solution which will be best for everyone.”

Rumours persist that Sanchez may make up part of a deal that would see Luis Suarez move to Camp Nou, with the 25-year-old winger moving to Merseyside rather than Manchester.

According to the Daily Mail though, United are preparing a £22m move for the Chilean but a lack of Champions League football next season could prove to be a deal-breaker.

With Nani rumoured to be open to a move away from Old Trafford and Ashley Young and Wilfried Zaha yet to fulfil their potential, Van Gaal may look to strengthen on the wings. Arjen Robben and Ángel di María have also been linked with a move to United but Sanchez appears to be many fans’ preference.

Here are some views of United fans on who they would like to see at Old Trafford next season:
