Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to rule out a Manchester United return in the future to the club he considers a ‘second family’.
Paddy Crerand, not one to mince his words, asked Ronaldo when he was being interviewed by MUTV yesterday when he was coming back to United and although Ronaldo insisted he was happy at Real Madrid, he made it clear the option isn’t ruled out for him.
It’s the same answer that Ronaldo has always given when asked about re-joining United and nothing has changed on that front.
Ronaldo also showed a nice touch when he pointed Crerand out to his Real Madrid team-mates.
Just saw Cristiano Ronaldo point out Paddy Crerand to his Madrid teammates in the tunnel. All looked. Crerand, 75, stood alone, humbled.

According to reports, Ronaldo hasn’t trained this week and won’t be fit in time to face United tonight which is a shame but, in the interests of winning the game, probably a good thing.
