Here is the latest Manchester United transfer gossip from around the web including the latest from Italy on Marouane Fellaini to Napoli as well as an interesting revelation about Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.
This week, Marouane Fellaini has been linked with a loan move to Napoli. Rafael Benitez has openly admitted the Belgian is on his list of potential signings and with an uncertain future at Manchester United, it’s no surprise to see a potential exit is on the cards.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Fellaini was supposed to meet Van Gaal yesterday to discuss his future but his latest update suggests that meeting is yet to take place.
The 26-year-old wages are believed to be a sticking point for in Napoli’s bid to sign him on loan but with Van Gaal unlikely to use him in his first team, seeking a move away could be the best choice for all parties with Fellaini.
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stirred the pot with Borussia Dortmund by revealing Marco Reus has a €25m release clause .
Dortmund’s chief has responded angrily to comments which suggests the €25m is correct and if that’s the case, there’ll be a whole host of teams lining up next summer to try and poach Reus from Bayern Munich.
Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin has also been linked with United once again and fellow Serie A player Mehdi Benatia of AS Roma has also seen his link to United refreshed.
