Arturo Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich was in London today to watch the Community Shield according to Gazzetta dello Sport and the Italian newspaper believes a meeting with Manchester United will happen to discuss a possible deal for the Chilean midfielder.
As Alexis Sanchez shares the same agent as Vidal, it would come as no surprise to hear he made the trip over to watch him play against Manchester City but from United’s perspective, the outcome of whether United do have a meeting with Vidal’s agent will be indicative.
Were United not to arrange a meeting with Felichevich, it would suggest United had either completed negotiations for the Chilean midfielder or were not interested in pursuing them any further. Were United to meet his representative, it would show the interest in signing Vidal remains genuine.
Vidal himself hasn’t helped to dampen speculation after he signed a United shirt out on tour with Juventus and with the season fast approaching, a decision either way on whether United will make a move for Vidal is expected soon.
