Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is in Madrid ahead of his medical which will see him complete a season-long loan deal to Champions League holders Real Madrid.
It is being reported that Real Madrid will pay Hernandez’s £90,000 per week wages in full for the duration of the deal.
The 26-year-old’s United future was thrown into doubt following new manager Louis van Gaal‘s preference for a different type of striker.
Now that Falcao’s loan move to Old Trafford has been confirmed, it seems United will be immediately replacing Hernandez with Falcao which is certainly an improvement.
Hernandez grew frustrated at United because of a lack of game time and although he will be a back-up to Karim Benzema in Madrid, he does have more chance of regular appearances from the bench.
