Marcos Rojo is desperate to make his Manchester United debut after being forced to wait for a work permit and now it has been granted, he can’t wait to play.
The 24-year-old is expected to make his debut against QPR at Old Trafford next Sunday and could well do so alongside Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind who are both in line for their first appearance following deadline day moves.
Rojo has admitted that joining United has already had a major impact on his life and he hasn’t even made an appearance for the club yet, so it’s clear to see how much it means to him that he’s now a United player which is refreshing to see.
“I am desperate to get onto the field and play because I have not been able to step on to Old Trafford,” Rojo said.
“My life has changed a lot. I am very happy to be at Manchester United, a top team in the world, sharing a dressing room with players like Rooney, Van Persie, Di María and now Falcao.”
United’s defence has been shaky so far this season and it’s hoped that Rojo will be able to add some much needed stability. The latest football odds on United winning against QPR next weekend will certainly be shortened if Rojo can come in and bring some solidarity back into United’s defence.
