Luke Shaw can’t wait to play at Old Trafford again: “The support was unreal”

Luke Shaw has immediately been bitten by the Manchester United bug and can’t wait to play at Old Trafford again.

The 19-year-old had an excellent full debut and lasted 90 minutes at Old Trafford to help Manchester United hold on for a vital 2-1 victory over West Ham.

It was Shaw’s first taste of playing in front of 75,000 home fans and as the game was a very tense affair, the atmosphere was on a knife edge for the final 30 minutes.

Now he has played in front of it once, Shaw is counting down the days until he can get another opportunity and he is more than likely going to start against Everton on Sunday.

Something to note about all of United’s new signings is that they seem very happy.

Shaw endured a distinctly average pre-season where he was criticised by Louis van Gaal for not being fit enough and then suffered an injury which ruled him out for a month, so he hasn’t had the best of starts but he’s now ready to hit the ground running.
