Radamel Falcao is aiming to win the Premier League’s Golden Boot during his career at Manchester United.
The striker scored his first goal for the club last weekend in United’s 2-1 win over Everton and followed it up with a goal for Colombia against El Salvador.
His goalscoring rate since moving to Europe has been phenomenal and although he has endured a slow start to life at Old Trafford, it clearly hasn’t effected his confidence.
“That’s one of the goals I have for my career in England,” Falcao said when asked if he could win the Premier League’s golden boot.
Falcao has his work cut out to overcome Chelsea’s Diego Costa this year given that the Spaniard is already eight goals ahead of him but Falcao clearly plans to be at United for longer than his one season loan deal, something he has reiterated on more than one occasion.
There’s no question that Falcao has the ability to win the golden boot at United and all he needs is a few goals to gain some momentum. Once he has that, he’d be more than capable of scoring 25+ goals, so here’s hoping he can continue his goal scoring form against West Brom next week.
