Manchester United will wait until at least Friday at Louis van Gaal‘s pre-match press conference to comment on Angel Di Maria and whether he will be passed fit to play Chelsea.
Di Maria was still in impressive form against West Brom but was seen visibly grimacing towards the latter stages of the game before he was substituted in the 76th minute against West Brom and had an ice pack immediately put on his groin.
The ice pack was more than likely a precautionary measure but there are concerns he won’t be passed fully fit to face Chelsea on Sunday which would a terrible blow if that proved to be the case.
After having so many injury troubles the last thing United need is for Di Maria to be sidelined given that he has been by far and away their best player so far this season.
No official update on Di Maria injury from #mufc until LVG conference on Friday I am told

In addition to Di Maria, Ander Herrera might not be fit to face Chelsea and United will be without the suspended Wayne Rooney who is serving the last of his three match ban.
