Rafael Da Silva thinks Old Trafford will be a factor in the match this Sunday against Chelsea.
Manchester United have won their last three home games against Everton, West Ham and Queens Park Rangers, scoring eight goals in the process but Chelsea will be the toughest opposition at Old Trafford this season.
After their 6-0 drubbing of Maribor in the Champions League yesterday, Chelsea will be coming into the game in good form and are currently undefeated atop the Premier League but Rafael is confident United are able to come away with a win on Sunday.
“Everyone is beatable,” Rafael told ManUtd.com.
“We have to do our best, of course. They are playing well. We’re playing at Old Trafford though and we’ve been getting results there so they are definitely beatable.
Rafael added that despite being unable to claim three points on Monday against West Brom, the team has an opportunity to bounce back in a big way, especially with the help of the fans at Old Trafford.
He added: “Football is about results and, when you don’t play well and draw, like on Monday night, of course everyone will speak,” he said. “But hopefully we can play well against Chelsea and, if we get the result, it would be very positive for us and the whole team.
“I’ve been involved in a lot of these [big] games. I love to play these games. They always have a great atmosphere. I’m sure Old Trafford will be very loud again. It will be hard because they are playing well. We just have to concentrate and do our best, and I hope we can get the result we want.”
There’s no doubt that United are the underdogs on Sunday but with the likes of Falcao and Di Maria, United have the players capable of beating anyone.
However, it all depends on what team turn up against Chelsea because if United played like they did against West Brom, it’s hard to see anything but a a Chelsea win.
