Radamel Falcao not pictured in Manchester United training ahead of derby

Manchester United released images of today’s training session ahead of the derby this weekend and fans are concerned after none of Radamel Falcao were released.

Given that he is one of the centres of attention, Falcao is usually one of the first players who has his picture snapped and any other training session he has taken part in has seen plenty of photos released soon after.

However, it looks like Falcao didn’t train with the full first-team which means it’s more than likely he either trained individually on a separate program or didn’t take part at all.

Reports from Colombia this week suggest Falcao has suffered a muscle injury and there have been suggestions it could see the striker ruled out for two weeks from when he got the injury last week.

It’s not been the strongest of starts for Falcao’s career at United and a minor injury setback won’t do him any help in gaining momentum to try and find his best form.

Louis van Gaal is likely to tell reporters the latest news on Falcao’s injury when he holds his press conference this afternoon at 4pm.
