Marcos Rojo could miss up to six months with dislocated shoulder – report

by Sam Peoples

Marcos Rojo could face up to six months on the sidelines if his shoulder injury is as bad as originally feared, reports The Independent.

Other reports from The Telegraph and Daily Mail suggest Rojo could be missing for up to three months.

The reports come as a big shock to United fans after Rojo himself took to Twitter to indicate that the injury was not as serious as first thought.

Speaking after the game, Louis van Gaal confirmed Rojo had to go to hospital to have a scan on his shoulder and would miss the Crystal Palace game this weekend but if he has to undergo surgery on the injury, it could see him ruled out for a substantial period of time.

Does anybody know precisely how long Rojo could be injured for? By the sounds of it, no.

At this stage there has been no confirmation as to the extent of the injury from Van Gaal and it will be a case of waiting for the United boss to give an update on Rojo’s condition later this week, potentially at his pre-match press conference for Crystal Palace.
