Angelo Henriquez has told reporters how happy he is on loan at Dinamo Zagreb and insisted he would like to stay as long as possible and play in the Champions League for Dinamo.
The striker has been in inspiring form with ten goals in his last 12 appearances for the Croatian club and has grabbed the attention of United fans with such great form in front of goal.
Earlier this week his father said a career at United was one of Henriquez’s ultimate goals but the 20-year-old has now made it clear he’s currently happy to stay at Dinamo.
“I love Zagreb, this is a great city, the food is good, the club and results are great,” Henriquez said.
“I would like to stay as long as possible and play in the Champions League for Dinamo. But Manchester United are following me. They call me after the league games when I score.
“I really like the Dinamo jersey. The problem is that my friends in Chile like the jersey too, so I’m constantly sending them to Chile. I think Chileans walk around in Dinamo shirts!”
United are keeping tabs on Henriquez thanks to his great goalscoring form but by the sounds of it, the Chilean could remain at Dinamo and given that they have a purchase clause attached to his loan deal, everything is in place for that move to happen as well.
