Falcao, Evans and Jones still injured for Manchester United

Louis van Gaal has confirmed Radamel Falcao, Jonny Evans and Phil Jones are all unavailable for Manchester United’s game against Crystal Palace.

Falcao missed United’s games against Manchester City and Chelsea after suffering a kick in training two weeks ago and is yet to recover from it but the good news is that the international break gives him two weeks before the Arsenal game.

As for Jones and Evans, neither was expected to return just yet but once again their injury absence leaves United with very few defensive options in the squad.

Despite the continued injury problems United have, Van Gaal is refusing to be downbeat and maintains belief in his squad: “It is like it is and I don’t want to complain or cry because I have great belief in the players, myself and the fans.”

Van Gaal also confirmed Marcos Rojo wouldn’t have to undergo surgery and could return within six weeks.
