Marcos Rojo trains with Man Utd despite shoulder problems

Marcos Rojo took part in training with Manchester United today despite being sidelined after suffering a dislocated shoulder.

The Argentinian isn’t able to play competitive football for United yet but the fact he is able to take part in training after a two week rest during the international break is great news.

There is no confirmation this is Rojo (far back left) but if it isn’t, Andreas Pereira is the only other player who has a similar hairstyle and he certainly isn’t that tall:

The initial prognosis on Rojo’s injury was that it could keep him out of action for up to three months if he needed surgery but luckily that wasn’t the case, meaning Rojo can return sooner.

In his absence, and with Jonny Evans already sidelined, Louis van Gaal only has one left-footed centre back in Tyler Blackett and the youngster has been out of form since his red card against Leicester, so United are certainly going to miss having Rojo in the side.

Rojo wasn’t indomitable when he played at centre-back but he was improving, so hopefully he can come back stronger when he does make his full return from injury.
