Daley Blind delighted with Man Utd win and Van Persie screamer

Daley Blind took to Twitter to celebrate with Manchester United fans after a convincing 3-0 win over Hull City and hailed Robin van Persie’s fantastic goal.

Van Persie’s goal was the icing on the cake after a total performance from United which saw them dominate the match from the very first minute and for Van Persie, it was a much needed goal after coming into some strong criticism from Louis van Gaal and the fans.

Blind began his rehabilitation program back at Carrington this week having been given a short break after damaging his knee ligaments away on international duty with Holland against Latvia. He is likely to be out until early 2015 but it hasn’t stopped him cheering on his team-mates.

Fans can’t wait to have Blind back in action given how influential he has been this season but in his absence, Michael Carrick did a sterling job against Hull to show he is more than capable of replacing Blind, if only for the time being.
