Daley Sinkgraven open to possible January transfer from Heerenveen

SC Heerenveen’s Daley Sinkgraven has put clubs around Europe on alert after admitting he could leave the Dutch club in January.

Earlier this month Sinkgraven said he would prefer a move to a top club in the Netherlands such as Ajax but has now actively left the door open for a move elsewhere with his latest comments.

“Could a transfer happen this winter? Yes, it could, if there is real interest”, Sinkgraven said.

“Who is there? I don’t know.

“I heard about Ajax, but I don’t know anything about the other clubs that have been mentioned.”

Reports from back in October linked Man United with a move for Sinkgraven and with three goals and two assists so far in the Eredivisie, he is enjoying a steady start to the season.

Louis van Gaal has already signed two Dutch players in Daley Blind and Timothy Fosu-Mensah but they are unlikely to be the last in his time as Man United manager.
