Manchester United have their second game in three days against Stoke City on Tuesday and will be going into the tie full of confidence after beating Hull City 3-0 at the weekend.
Radamel Falcao made his return to the team with an appearance from the bench and is contention to start against Stoke tomorrow.
The Colombian striker had a strong cameo against Hull and was extremely unlucky not to score as Michael Dawson’s last ditch tackle on the line was all that stopped him from finding the back of the net.
With Falcao back in the side and Robin van Persie back to his goalscoring ways, the in-form Wayne Rooney could potentially play slightly deeper in the No.10 role as part of a 4-4-2 diamond.
Should Rooney be kept in his role up front or can Falcao, Van Persie and Rooney work together in this formation? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
